Update - Yahoo And AP Steal The Lead In Biased And Distorted Reporting

I know what you're gonna say, there's no media bias against Israel.

Link...

There's no point complaining anymore as it always falls on deaf ears. Maybe it's time I start a blog devoted solely to logging biased media reports.

*Update*, it looks like distortion fever has spread to the Scotsman :

Breathtaking.

I have just told everyone worth telling what you have found!

I also have high definition screen shot :)

---------------

I think they're just dumb. What a mistake to make though!

---------------

i guess they have it drummed in so deep they just don't realise they're doing it anymore.

I emailed Charles Johnson, and posted several times at LGF - and now he's updated with this Yahoo link but no hat tip the bastard!!!!

Question did you notice this yourself I did someone email you?

---------------

No, Charles hasn't picked up on it yet. I also left him a message, specifically asking him to credit you, when he does pick up on it.

I agree with you J, that they were probably just being dumb when they wrote the headline, but it does still betray bias, and it is the most biased headline I have ever seen, as relates to the Middle East Conflict.

Good job.

---------------

i found the first link through a comment on lgf, the second one i found through a search.

found the comment,

#31 Kragar (proud to be kafir)on this topic

it's amazing the stuff you find looking through the comments on lfg :)

---------------

Ah ha! Charles has linked to yourself now :)

Well I must admit a dirty secret I sometimes find original stories through LGF open threads ;) mwhahaha

---------------

Mwhahahahahaha [rubbing hands with glee whilst looking over secret plans]

Jonz and Pastorius, nice one for getting me the hat tip

---------------

I think that if the final "i" in Israeli is replaced with a comma or colon then the title makes more sense.

I cant help but feel it is an oversight in that way (typo), as opposed to an example of gross distortion and bias. There are enough other examples of that.

Congrats, bro. You'll have to do me the favor one of these days. In all my time as a blogger, I've never had a LGF hat tip. I'm on the anti-Idiotarian blogroll at LGF, but no mentions other than that.

:(

whoever has the highdef version of this screenshot can you please sent it to me, Id like to put it on my desktop: highdef@bryanmarco.com
thanks

Re starting a Media Watch blog, you're a little late ;)

---------------

Did you steal this story from LGF? Thief!!!

---------------

I had to read it a couple times for it to sink in!
I am not sure what that indicates...

Great job, J-- quick on the uptake!

Notice that the version of the story on the AP's own website, which was posted the same day, does not have the wrong headline. Perhaps Yahoo did have something to do with it.

---------------

there's no such people as the palestinians, no such country as palestine and judea and samaria ARE israel..........

so where was the bomber from?

---------------

arabia.

his country of residence either egypt or jordan
